Providing young people the self-empowering, no shame, no blame support they need and deserve.
Do you help young adults dealing with addiction in an educational or support setting, such as a high school, university, or recovery community organization?
If so, then you know how important and challenging this work is.
The stigma around addiction and the fear of being judged as powerless and labeled as an addict, alcoholic, etc., often prevents young adults from seeking help.
SMART Recovery offers a modern solution: a peer-support program that uses a self-empowering approach to addiction recovery. We’ve found that this approach and our 4-Point Program® resonate with young adults.
We will work with you to create a plan that meets your specific needs. Our training options for SMART Meeting Facilitators include your choice of onsite group training or a convenient self-study online training option for individuals. Young Adult Outreach Program Pricing
As a non-profit, we know that developing new programs on a limited budget is a challenge. We’d like to help.
Young Adult Meeting Facilitator training costs just $35 registration fee. (Standard training costs $99). Once your meeting is registered, your organization will be eligible for a discount on purchase of SMART Recovery handbooks.

The SMART Recovery Handbook will provide you with tools and ideas to help you reach your goal of recovery from addictive behaviors.
Facilitator’s Manual
The SMART Recovery Facilitator’s Manual provides an overview starting a SMART Recovery group meeting. It also serves as a refresher for experienced facilitators.

Self-Management And Recovery Training (SMART) helps individuals gain independence from any harmful addiction to substances or activities. Our program evolves as science evolves. Our tools are rooted in evidence-based addiction treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.
